If not yet at war with your target, go in the city and buy all their food. Build trebuchets to destroy defensive siege engines and break the walls. As each one is built, pause the game and put it in reserve. When the last one is built, bring them all back from reserve. Lead the assault and put your troops as far from the walls as possible.
I thought my timing was off but now I know its related to weapon positioning (left - chambers overhead or right), I'll definitely give this a go. Thanks for the lesson. i always do that and i didn't even know it's called chamber block or people considered it hard to perform. mp combats helped alot for practice. Their code has been absolutely riddled with math errors with most perks being off by a factor of 100 in the beginning (said 2%, gave 0.02%) and recently with the high level swing speed perks being off by 10x and giving 2% per level rather than 0.2% per level so you got 400% swing speed rather than +40% I recommend doing your nefarious deeds in a border and keeping one nation on good terms. Because when you attack a villager, lord, or caravan, whomever it belongs to and their nation will see you hostile. So in case you become notorious enough for a 150+ army to come after you, you can make a run for it to a nearby friendly castle. Good advice.
Ok, country is in war and all that but in Warband you could play as a woman with a debuff, there were some female fighters and the rest were ladies in castles. It really added to immersion. And it was that much more impactful. Seeing a 19 year old short woman with oversized helm on clipping through her head in Bannerlord blows it all out of the
3. lxfschr. • 4 yr. ago. I think ideally you want high tier crossbowmen. Crossbows are good for sieges because they have a lot of time to fire and they duck down behind walls when they reload. You want high tier because garrisons cost food and can deplete profits, so you want around 100-150 good soldiers in each town and 50-100 in each castle
1H to 225 Athletics to 250 (with a key milestone at 125 that reduces charge damage taken by 50%: very useful against cav charges) Throwing to 50 (gives +15 to 1H, 2H, and Polearm to troops) Polearm as high as possible (the whole tree is useful, with 10% dmg bonus for melee at lvl 225) 2jJz6ZZ.
