Daredevil is an elite specialization for the thief unlocked with the Heart of Thorns expansion. These extremely agile thieves are well aware of the dangers of the jungle, and have trained hard to gain a third endurance bar, and learned martial arts to modify their dodge into a damage skill or a dash.
Even if they added a way to craft duplicates of the specialization weapons, chances are it would still require the same materials as any other ascended weapon. From that perspective, they have no real reason to add in the ability to acquire duplicates since people can simply craft a regular ascended weapon and transmute the skin.
Defeat it to unlock the hero point. Teleport back to the initial waypoint and travel west through the desert. Fight a giant enemy and unlock the hero point. Head west again to find another hero point guarded by sand lions. Defeat them and teleport back to the waypoint. Head southwest to a specific waypoint.
