Yes, as long as they are all on NA xor EU servers together. Cross NA and EU doesn't work. GW2 doesn't divide characters or accounts by 'server' but by Region (EU, US and China) and by World . Players in the same region can play together anywhere except in World vs World. You're not. Once the game launches (or you're in the head start, presumably), you can pick an all-new server. we're in the middle of a WvW restructuring beta, which features an automatic matchmaker/teammaker. if you are currently not already on your guild's team, then you won't be able to play with them, until this Friday's reset. that's when WvW goes back to the server-based system, and presumably you're on the same server as your guild, you'll be able to play with them.
Guild Wars 2 will also have a "guesting" feature which gives you the option to play with your friends on another world. This will allow your characters to play on any world with friends, though

You can unlock new Living World episodes for free by logging in to Guild Wars 2 while they’re live. An episode’s live period is between its release and the release of the next episode.
