Recently when opening the car with central locking the boot lid would always unhatch itself so I'd always had to close it but recently the boot won't open at all using the keys or the button on the hatch. I have also noticed my brake Led light has gone aswell not sure if problem is linked. I would like any suggestion before buying a new lock 1 Reply KASEKENNY MECHANIC 18,907 POSTS Unfortunately we don't have a manual on this vehicle however, in general the sensor is part of the switch. Basically it is a sensor that is in the switch that determines the position of the switch. So while I can't confirm this on this part due to not having a manual but I suspect it is included in the part.
However it now works but it only works when you press the left hand side of the handle where as - before it went in it worked both on the left and right side of the boot handle, kinda like a see saw effect. Thinking of getting it swapped on its next service, though I am told it is a citroen only part and valued at £19.99 to buy.

If you've got the split opening tailgate (alot of people don't even realise they've got this) you may have inadvertantly opened the glass by mistake.
